    I would like to know if it is possible to acquire double glazed window casings locally to refurbish an older house in Quito. I have noticed that most hotels advertise that they have double glazed windows to reduce street noise.

    Suzan the question is: do they bring in these windows during construction from overseas with other imported materials or are they available locally

    Hi Ray, an Ecuadorian friend who works in Ecuador’s construction industry tells me that “Yes there are a few providers who can give this service. A little bit expensive because is not well known yet in Ecuador. They are imported.”
