I asked about this before and Suzan Haskins answered that question, you can get a debit card when you open a banking account, and it is accepted in USA. I also have a free business checking account with my current bank, can you get that in Ecuador too??? I buy a few things from Amazon, and I’m sure there is no problem mailing it to Ecuador, so I should be able to get all that I need in Ecuador, just curious about the banking situation. I already asked about the Internet, and it looks like it is the same in Ecuador, sure hope so.

I don’t really understand your question, David. Free business checking account? Are you planning on opening a business here in Ecuador? If so you’ll pay for the checks and the debit card. And I’m not sure why you think receiving mail isn’t an issue–the postal service leaves a LOT to be desired. You can have items shipped through Club Correos but it’s my understanding it ain’t cheap.
