Greetings . . . I have tried everything I can think of to get climatological data for the Western La Amistad National Park area
at high altitude (6,000 to 8,500′). Does anyone know of any met stations anywhere that would help give a picture of total sunshine hours, temperatures, rainfall, etc.?

    Thanks

    Hi Xakan,

That’s a very specific question. But try this website: http://www.inbio.ac.cr/pila/

There is some contact information there – perhaps those people directly involved in the park could give you the details you are looking for.

    Thanks Jason!

I’ve just written to someone there whose e was listed on the PILA site you gave me.

I’ll let you know if I have success.

    Thanks again.

    Xakan
