    I will be making my first trip to Ecuador in late April, I am starting my trip in Guayaquil. I am looking for a beach town that is close to a golf course, any suggestions?

    I can’t think of any beach towns in Ecuador that have golf courses. (We’ve heard rumors that some are proposed but as far as I know right now, that’s all they are — rumors.) The closest beach to a golf course at this point is probably Playas, about an hour from Guayaquil – -where I think there are two courses. And Salinas, which is about two hours to Guayaquil.
