what’s the best way to design or find a trip that touches on several areas in the Central Valley and southern pacific with the idea of determining whether this is a serious retirement destination?

i’m from Texas and tired of the heat, drought and humidity so I like the idea of a place where you don’t need A/C

just don’t know how to get started

You missed a great opportunity in not attending the Costa Rica Fast Track conference which was held in the first week of August (2013). There were opportunities to visit all kinds of housing – apartments, condos, villas, in a variety of locations in the Central Valley.

Hi Ken,

As far as an escape from heat and humidity, the Central Valley and Arenal regions would fit the bill. Both have temperate climates year-round, no need for AC.
