To all of our readers, wherever you may be, we wish you a joyous holiday season with those you love.
Here in Panama Christmas Day is always super quiet and peaceful… everyone is at home relaxing. The big celebration takes place at midnight on Christmas Eve, when fireworks light up the sky and seem to go on forever!!
Many people take vacation during these two holiday weeks, and many businesses and offices are closed, so life really slows down.
We’ll have another fireworks display in New Year’s Eve, then everyone goes back to work on Jan. 4.
