    Does anyone know of any gated communities around Quito? We may have a legal issue with the villa we’re constructing in one such community, and are considering looking elsewhere.

    Quito Tenis is probably the best known. And I think there’s one in the same vicinity called Las Colinas. And there’s the country club community of Los Chillos in the Los Chillos valley. And I’m sure there are many smaller ones in Cumbaya and Tumbaco.

    Thanks, Suzan. I’ve been setting up apt. rentals for remaining 2 months we’ll be in Quito. We arrive Jan 8 and leave Apr 7, so that will give us time to do more exploring. Thanks again.
