Guinea pig

Stupid question guys so please be patient. A friend of mine wants to eat a guinea pig during our stay in Cotacachi. She is a religious person, so she doesn’t eat anything with blood in it. So she asked me if the people in Cotacachi bleed the Guinean pig when they kill the animal, or if they just break it neck which by method all the blood would stay inside the animal. I have no clue about this, I never ever have I eaten a guinea pig in my life, so I thought you might know. Thank you and I apologize if my question sounds rude or harsh.
