I read in a previous article in Ecuador Insider that Salud, S.A. is a good health insurance option. Is this still the case? I went to their website but my Spanish isn’t near good enough to navigate and ask questions. Though we are not sure at this point, the IESS option as we understand it may be prohibitive for us.

Of course I cannot recommend any particular insurance carrier over another, as everyone’s needs are different, but I can confirm that Salud is one of the largest insurance carriers in South America.
