professional residency visa

Does anyone know about the difficulty of getting a professional visa vs an investor’s visa? I hear different things. I’d prefer the professional one (since there is no investment amount needed and it doesn’t have to be renewed each year). BUT if it is too painstaking, I can go with the investor route. Has anyone done this personally? Thoughts?

Hi Andrea, email Dana Cameron – -she teaches at a university in Guayaquil and she also helps foreigners get their visas. She is on a professional visa and says it’s easy enough to get them… at least if you go through the process in Guayaquil. I think there are some additional tax reporting things you need to do if you go this route, but it’s certainly worth digging into. Dan’s email addreess is agua_plata@hotmail.com.
