    We are planning a trip to Ecuador Jan to Feb 2017 and have decided to stay in Cuence rather than exploring the whole country in one trip. What are our options for getting from Quito to Cuence and back?

    The quickest is of course a 45 minute direct flight. You can also take an 8 hour bus trip. Since you’re going to be in the country for awhile you might consider hiring a private bilingual guide, break the trip into 2 days, and enjoy the magnificent scenery through the Avenue of the Volcanoes route connecting the two cities.
