    For the pensionado program, Costa Rica requires a minimum stay of 4 months in the country.  Must these 4 months be all together, or can it be 4 months total, without having to be concurrent months?

    Hi Frederick,

    It is four months total throughout the year. No need for it to be all together.

    In reading about purchasing property, it stated to hire a realtor.  It never stated what the realtor percentage is of the sale of the property, and who pays

    that percentage.

    Hi Jonas, Realtor/broker fees will usually run 5-6%, sometimes up to 10%. They are generally paid by the seller.
