    My wife and I will be looking at different properties in Ecuador in May.
    What is the best, safest and most economical way to get money into Ecuador for a property purchase?

    Wire transfer is the best way. But just as you would in the States, do your due diligence about the person you are working with… Always a good idea to get an attorney involved BEFORE you sign any type of contract.
